Privacy Choices
Last updated: September 1, 2026
Veymote's core data remains on your device and local network. You can use the controls below to manage permissions, saved records, and third-party connections.
Manage System Permissions
- Local Network
- Open iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Local Network → Veymote. Turning this off generally prevents TV discovery, remote control, casting, and mirroring.
- Microphone and Speech Recognition
- Manage these permissions under Microphone and Speech Recognition in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security. Remote-control features that do not require voice input remain available.
- Photos and Files
- Veymote uses system pickers for media or playlists you actively select. You can choose not to select content or adjust previously granted photo access in system settings.
Delete Local Data
- Delete TVs you no longer use from the device list, and revoke Veymote or network-remote authorization in the TV's settings.
- Delete scenes, favorites, IPTV playlists, and local shortcut settings from their respective pages in the app.
- Stop any Google Cast, DLNA, AirPlay, or screen-broadcast session to end temporary media services.
- Uninstall Veymote to remove data from the app's sandbox.
- If authorization remains in the TV, Apple ID, Keychain synchronization, or a third-party service, revoke it separately in that system.
Subscription Choices
Manage or cancel Remote Pro in iPhone Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Uninstalling the app does not automatically cancel a subscription. Apple handles billing and refund requests under its policies.
Cross-App Tracking and Advertising
Veymote does not currently use an App Tracking Transparency identifier to track you across apps, and the Veymote pages do not include advertising or tracking settings. As a result, this page does not provide a separate "sell or share my personal information" switch. Google Cast and Apple system services remain subject to their own privacy settings and policies.
Crash Diagnostics and Remote Configuration
Veymote uses Firebase Crashlytics for crash and non-fatal error diagnostics and Firebase Remote Config to retrieve app configuration. Neither service is used for cross-app advertising tracking. To ask whether an applicable diagnostic record can be deleted or to raise a privacy concern about this processing, use the privacy request link below and include the app version and approximate incident date, but do not include TV passwords or pairing credentials.
Support Communication Requests
If you previously sent personal information to our support email, you may ask to access, correct, or delete any support communications we still retain. To prevent unauthorized deletion, we may need to verify that the request comes from the same email account.
